FIT N FUN - CHILDHOOD WELLNESSS PROGRAM |

Fit
N Fun is designed to educate and promote healthy lifestyle choices to
keep children active and fit. Emphasis is put on "FUN" through a
combination of physical fitness and nutrition education. Ages 8-12.

Fit N Fun -
Childhood Wellness Program
January 23 - March 14, 2012
Fit
n Fun is designed to educate and promote healthy lifestyle choices to
keep children active and fit. Emphasis is put on "FUN" through a
combination of fitness activities and nutrition education. Activities
are scheduled on Mondays & Wednesdays. February is Nutrition
Education Month with hands-on cooking activities planned. Parent
participation is required on Mondays from 5:15pm-6:30pm.
Fee: $55.00 per child (Financial Assistance is available for this programs).

| Yoga for Kids |
Ages
4-7 years. A fun introduction to Yoga for kids. Kids will learn Yoga
through music, songs, games and props. Have your child join this
non-competitive workshop that will focus on flexibility, strength, body
awareness and breathing techniques.

| Youth Fitness Club | Ages
8-12 years. As a group explore weekly different ways to move and train
our bodies and brains. These 4 weeks are an opportunity for kids to
find new ways to learn and discover their physical strengths and
address their physical challenges. Week I – Explore balance using trampolines, Bosu’s, rolled mats, yoga postures and fitness balls. Week II – Latin Cardio Dance warm up followed by partner stretches and core exercises. Week III – Basic strength training using tubes, light dumbbells and body weight. Week IV – A bit of kickboxing, a version of punk rope and boot camp games.

WELLNESS CENTER YOUTH ORIENTATION PROGRAM
Exclusive to Members Only |
Do
you have a 13-year old child and wish you could work out together? This
six week program introduces your child to proper use of Wellness Center
equipment and etiquette. Parent and child must participate in program
together and at completion will have access to the Wellness Center for
their “family workout” prior to the child’s 14th birthday. Call the
Wellness Staff at 610-258-6158 ext. 50 and speak with Kathy Magnusson
to sign up.
