The Early Childhood Development Center NORTH is a Keystone STARS Three Site.

ECDC NORTH Programs:
The Family YMCA’s Early Childhood Development Center NORTH delivers quality, affordable programming to accommodate full day care for children ages one through five years of age.

Your child will grow and develop in a safe, positive, structured learning environment as they create a firm foundation for a successful start in Kindergarten. Curriculum development is designed to introduce and reinforce pre-kindergarten readiness skills that coincide with the Easton Area School District’s curriculum.

ECDC NORTH Programs include:

Toddler 1:
Provides daily care between the hours of 6:30am and 6:30pm. Includes AM and PM snack. Does not include diapers, breakfast or lunch.

Toddler 2:
Provides daily care between the hours of 6:30am and 6:30pm. Includes AM and PM snack. Does not include diapers, breakfast or lunch.

Toddler 3:
Provides daily care between the hours of 6:30am and 6:30pm. Includes AM and PM snack. Does not include diapers, breakfast or lunch.

Preschool 3 :
Provides daily care between the hours of 6:30am and 6:30pm. Includes AM and PM snack. Does not include breakfast, lunch or field trips.

Preschool 4 :
Provides daily care between the hours of 6:30am and 6:30pm. Includes AM and PM snack. Does not include breakfast, lunch or field trips.

YMCA ECDC NORTH Rates:
. All participants in the programs listed below are required to purchase a youth membership to the Family YMCA.

. All fees are based on a weekly payment schedule. .

Full time and part time tuition includes up to 10 hours of care per day.

Weekly part time tuition includes up to 5 hours of care per day.

Extended care is available.

Enrichment Classes :
Enrichment Classes offer just the right amount of fun and activity for youngsters to experience a specific area of interest. Explore physical fitness, the arts, the computer and digital photography, cooking, or martial arts skills. Whatever you and your child choose, they are sure to be excited about the next class.

Action Karate (Ages 3-6)
The goal of Action Karate is to use basic martial arts skills to show children how using self control, respect, discipline and showing confidence can be fun and exciting.
Tuesdays; 9:30am-10:00am

Young Chefs Academy (Ages 4-6)
Young Chefs Academy teaches children the joy of cooking. Budding Chefs will learn the basics of cooking while participating in the preparation of real recipes they get to taste at the end of each class.
Tuesdays; 10:45am-11:30am

Fun Bus (18 Months-6 Years Old)
This full sized school bus has been equipped with kid gymnastic equipment providing your child with FITNESS FUN.
Thursdays; 10:30am-11:00am

Ballet (Ages 3-6)
Your child will have the opportunity to participate in a 30-minute dance class incorporating large motor skills, socialization skills, and basic ballet skills. Classes will be upbeat and exciting for the children while still guiding their dance instruction.
Thursdays; 9:30am-10:00am

Enrichment Classes Winter Schedule
January 9 - February 26, 2011 (7-week session)

Enrichment Classes Payment Options:
Pay As You Go Weekly: $13.00 per session
Pay for the Entire Session: $91.00 entire 7-week session

Busy Beaver Summer Day Camp:
Busy Beaver Camp will begin June 14, 2010 at the ECDC North location.

Summertime is a wonderful time to introduce your child age 3-6 years old to camp! Campers will participate in age-appropriate, interactive activities including sports, fitness, arts, crafts, science, cooking, nature and more. Each week will revolve around a new theme to keep campers engaged and active.

3 & 4 Year Old Camp Campers have the option to attend camp either three or five days a week between 9:00am-12:00pm.

• 3 Year Olds – 3 Day Camp (M, W, F 9:00am-12:00pm) must be age three (3) and potty trained by January 1, 2010.

• 4 Year Old – 3 Day Camp (M, W, F 9:00am-12:00pm) or 5 Day Camp (M-F 9:00am-12:00pm) must be age four (4) and potty trained by first day of camp session.

Take Rt. 22 East toward Easton.
Take the 13th Street exit off of Rt. 22
Merge onto Wood Avenue
At traffic light, make a left onto 13th Street
At next traffic light, go straight up Lafayette Street; approximately 1 mile.
Turn left onto McCarthy Street,
Turn left onto Knox Avenue.
Knox Avenue becomes Sullivan Trail.
Pass Forks Towne Center shopping center.
Turn left at stoplight at former Laneco shopping center.
Parking available in front of center.

From Downtown Easton:
Take N. 3rd Street under Rt. 22.
N. 3rd Street becomes College Avenue.
Bear left onto Cattell Street.
Turn slight left onto Knox Avenue.
Knox Avenue becomes Sullivan Trail.
Pass Forks Towne Center shopping center.
Turn left at stoplight at former Laneco shopping center.
Parking available in front of center.
