ymca Freaky Forensics (Ages 7-11)
The Tutoring Annex has teamed up with a forensic scientist and chemistry teacher to bring you this brand new program! Children will explore forensics by collecting evidence, documenting the crime scene, making their own DNA profile and fingerprinting. Students will meet a police officer on the last day of class for questions and answers on safety awareness.

ymca Drawing/Sketching (Ages 7-11)
This theme-based course starts with a classic fairy tale from which students will draw scenes. Children will be taught eye to hand coordination techniques along with exploring the interplay of light and darkness shading. Pencil drawing has been found to sharpen intellect and objective thinking. This class is taught by a certified art teacher.

ymca Potions, Powders & Polymers (Age 7-11)
Is it science or magic? In this class students will explore magic and the science lurking behind it. Students will investigate a variety of experiments through the science of illusions. This class is conducted by a certified chemistry teacher.

ymca Sculpture (Age 7-11)
Students will be exposed to a variety of sculpture techniques and materials such as plaster and clay to create magnificent works of art. A certified art teacher will encourage students to use their creativity to make original pieces of art.
