The Family YMCA is licensed by the PA Department of Education to provide a full day Kindergarten program that coincides with the Easton Area School District’s Curriculum to prepare children for a successful start in the public school system upon entering First Grade.

The YMCA’s Full Day Kindergarten program is designed to provide an enrichment program that enhances Kindergarten skills focusing on math and literacy, meeting and exceeding Pennsylvania State Standards.

Important Kindergarten Information:
·	Children’s birthdates must reflect five years of age prior to October 31 to participate in the YMCA Full Day Kindergarten program.
·	Children’s birthdates must reflect fives years of age prior to the first day of school in the Easton Area School District to transfer into First Grade. If you live in a different school distraction, please check their entrance policy for guidelines.
·	Licensing capacity: up to 22 children.
·	Hours of Operation: 9:00am – 3:00pm
·	On-site Extended Care Options Available: 6:30am-9:00am or 3:00pm-6:00pm
·	Follows Easton Area School District’s School Year Calendar
·	Summer Program Available – full or part time.
·	Seasonal swimming and field trips.
·	Classroom computers.
